I'm a yoga teacher (and student for life), a wellness therapist, crazy cat lady and an ex Early Childhood Teacher based in Perth, WA.
I know firsthand the toll of burnout. Long hours, high demands and constant stress left me drained and constantly in fight or flight mode but my journey to wellness transformed my life. I discovered the joy of yoga in 2015 and this led me down the path to discover reiki, sound healing, meditation and more. These practices ended up helping me through the ups and downs in life and I will be forever grateful for them.
These days, I share my love of yoga through teaching at studios in Perth, offering a variety of classes including Vinyasa, Slow Flow, Yin, Restorative and Yoga Nidra. I’ve taught at fundraisers for local NGOs, community events and in professional spaces — including guiding sessions at the Society for Mental Health Research Conference, Westpac Australia for Women's Health Week and more. I’ve also had the honour of assisting in a 200-hour yoga teacher training, supporting new teachers as they begin their own journey.
My teaching style is soulful, sensory and centred on cultivating self-trust, self-love and spaciousness. Whether through stillness, sound or movement, I create space for students to meet themselves with gentleness and care. No matter the setting, my intention remains the same: to create grounding, nourishing spaces where people can soften, reconnect and come home to themselves.
With warmth and gratitude,
Ingrid
Ingrid’s yoga classes are such a comfort to experience. Her generous, heart-led, and joyful presence is what first drew me to her – and it’s what keeps me following her across the city. I love how each flow is crafted with little nuances – it’s never cookie cutter or without spirit. I am always grateful for the simple and calming return-to-nature reflections she weaves in at the beginning.
I’ve had the pleasure of practising yoga with Ingrid both in studio and on retreat in Bali, and I genuinely can’t recommend her enough. She brings such a calm, grounded presence to every class—it’s like exhaling before you even get started. Ingrid really knows how to hold space, which creates this beautiful environment that feels supportive, inclusive, and peaceful.
She’s incredibly patient and warm, and her flows are always thoughtfully put together. Whether it’s a chilled session or something more energising, she guides with ease, and makes everyone—from beginners to seasoned yogis—feel completely at home. Her ability to cater to different levels in one class is impressive, and a real testament to her skill.
Ingrid’s teaching is more than just movement—it’s mindful, nurturing, and real. I always leave her classes feeling lighter, both in body and mind.
Authentically led classes that have truly resonated with me every single time! A gentle soul that connects with the room effortlessly in magical ways.
